Cost of Attendance

Cost of attendance (COA) is the total amount it will cost to go to college each year and it is not necessarily the bill that you may get from your college. The COA includes tuition/fees, on-campus room and board, allowances for books, supplies, transportation, etc.

Based on the information you and your family provided on the FAFSA, a Financial Aid Specialist will be able to determine your financial aid eligibility using both your COA and your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC). The EFC is based on the information you provided on your FAFSA.  You must demonstrate need according to the Federal Formula.

Need is the difference between the Cost of Attendance (COA) and your expected family contribution (EFC).

 COA - EFC = Need

Cost estimates are based on student's enrollment of 12 units (each Fall, Spring term)
