Summer and fall 2021 SCHEDULEs

Welcome to the Summer and Fall 2021 semesters at Hartnell College, home of the Panthers. We hope that you will find exactly the courses you need to reach your academic and career goals. We realize this is a difficult time for you and your families, and we are here to support your learning and your well-being in every way we can. We hope you will continue pursuing your educational and career goals, which are more important now than ever.

PLEASE NOTE: Hartnell courses for the Summer and Fall 2021 terms will take place in multiple formats and may be fully online or require some face-to-face contact as listed. Online courses may be offered either asynchronously or synchronously and will be accessed through Canvas. Asynchronous courses have virtual online instruction, with possible/optional real time teacher instruction and prepared course materials delivered through Canvas. Synchronous courses have virtual online, REAL TIME instruction with MANDATORY SCHEDULED interactive online meeting times as listed. Some courses will require on-and off-campus face-to-face instruction to meet course objectives. Dates, times and locations for face-to-face classes will be listed or if may be TBD, to be determined. There are also a variety of courses offered hybrid, meaning they are a combination of the above. *If you are registering for your first math or English course, please visit the Placement for Success page for guidance on using the placement tool*Concurrent enrollment students less than 9th grade must register in person.

*Pay all registration fees by the payment deadline date to avoid being dropped from your classes. Pay on-line at P.A.W.S. for Students (Click on Make a Payment)

Priority Registration Dates

Your registration priority group and registration date are determined by the completion of the 2 Core Services (Orientation, and Student Education Plan), the number of units completed and in-progress at Hartnell Community College District, and maintaining good academic standing.  

2021 SUMMER & FALL  PRIORITY REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

The California Community College Board of Governors approved a policy change to establish system-wide registration priorities in an effort to improve student success.  Students now register for courses according to an enrollment priority system as defined by Title 5 regulations and the Hartnell Community College District.

Continuing Students who began attendance before FALL 2014 are not subject to newly mandated requirements.
